11 months old.

I can't believe that 1 year ago I was VERY pregnant and waiting anxiously for our new baby boy. And here he is 11 months old already! What? How did this happen so quickly!?! I love him so much and he has been a lot of fun to have around! I have to say I am a little sad though at how quickly this has gone by. He is usually quite busy and wanting to crawl around and get into things...I sometimes wish he were still the little snuggly newborn that would just snuggle right up to you. But he still gives loves, by giving what we call "love bonks", where he bonks his head to yours...and "love pats" where he smacks you very lovingly but sometimes painfully, in the face...He is a sweet boy and are so THANKFUL to have him! He likes to play pat a cake and peek a boo. He is starting to try and pull himself up to things but not even close to walking or anything like that, which I am ok with so far. It makes him seem little still... I am sure that as soon as he learns to walk he will be running....Maybe that will be good, I could lose a few pounds??? His favorite word is...UH-OH!!! Still not sleeping through the night, but getting a little better...LOVE him!

Another Brave Girl!

So after seeing that her LITTLE sister got her ears pierced and SURVIVED, Saige decided that she was brave enough to do it herself! So on Friday after she got out of school, we took her to get hers done. She was SO excited and kept saying she was only scared a teeny TINY bit, and proceeded to show me how little the amount of scared she felt by using her fingers and showing me a small circle, which was how much scared she was...So, this is before...Looking a bit nervous after they applied the dots...

Luckily she had 2 people available to do it at the same time so just one BIG OUCH!
And immediately after she was ALL SMILES! Not one tear was shed! She was so tough! I couldn't be prouder of how brave she was becuase she is my little worrier and nervous nelly! She always anticipates things to be SO much worse than they actually are so for her, THIS was a BIG accomplishment! Way to go Saige! You look so cute! By the way, Walmart was alot less expensive than the mall if any of you are considering this for your own little chicks but they aren't doing it anymore after April...Just in case you were wondering...Misha's cute more expensive earring was bumped out by someone and lost the day after she got hers pierced so we had to rush to Walmart to get another stud to hurry and put in there, that is where I saw how much cheaper it was so that is where we took Saige.

My Brave Girl...

So today I met my mom and sisters in Logan for a little shopping and lunch. While we were at the mall I asked Misha if she wanted to get her ears pierced. She said, "YES"! I have asked both of my girls this before and she has wanted to but Saige has talked her out of it because Saige is a little afraid of the pain. Well, Saige was at school today while we were there so she was being VERY brave. We were hoping that 2 people would be working so they could do both ears at once, but, there was only 1. I told Misha that because there was only 1 person that she would have to get 2 ouches instead of 1 and told her we could wait until another day so there would only be 1 ouch but she said she wanted 2 ouches...So, here is the brave little girl before...Very excited!!!

First ear...Oh man that hurts...

Second ear, OH NO, What was I thinking???

A couple of minutes of this...

And then after looking in the mirror at the finished product she was like this...

Aunt Leslie bought her a stuffed animal prize and aunt Kymmy bought her a root beer for her bravery. The girl who pierced them gave her a lollipop and sticker too, so she was set! Now Saige says she is no longer afraid and wants to get hers done too...We will be making sure there are 2 people there for her...Misha and her cousin Harlee who is visiting from Arizona this week. Cute little stinks, don't ya think?

Snow snow GO AWAY!

Yesterday my lawn was completely snow free, the sun was shining and I even saw my tulips starting to peek out of the ground....And then today.....How did it go from spring to this in one day? I probably would have liked this storm if it were, say, December maybe?

My cute girls. I am so glad they have each other. When they aren't fighting, they are pretty good friends! They are my sweeties!

Nothing better than dipping strawberries in a cream cheese/cool whip mixture!

The girls still always want to hold Greyson, but he is a lot more wiggley now and it doesn't last very long before he is about on his head.

10 months old!

Greyson is crawling all around still army style. He gets everywhere, and fast! He follows me from room to room and cries if I leave him. He is definetly turning into a mamma's boy. He is so sweet and laughing and "talking" a lot more. He loves his big sisters and follows them around too. He likes to go into Rich's studio and play with all the fun stuff in there. Rich doesn't always love that but he is good to pick him up and let him play guitar with him! It is pretty cute to watch! Everything he picks up goes right into his mouth, so I am a freak about Misha keeping her polly pockets picked up. He pooped out a reeses peanut butter foil wrapper awhile ago, so we have to be careful! Rich changed that diaper and was freaking out! For fun Misha and I gave him a bath in the kitchen sink. He thought that was pretty fun. Misha wanted to take a bath in there too, but I told her she was too big and wouldn't fit. She was pretty bummed.

Those medicine dispensers make some fun bath toys, except Misha pinched her finger in one pretty good and got a little owie.

I went in to get Greyson up from his nap and look who I found hanging out in his crib with him! What a funny girl! It's no wonder why he loves his big sisters so much! They pretty much ADORE him! Oh and by the way he has BOTH top and bottom teeth in now! Ouch! I tried giving him formula yesterday and he spit it right out! I guess I am going to have to suffer through!!! It's ok, we will figure something out and he doesn't bite every single time...
