Imogen Heap - Just For Now(Live)

Wow!, I stubled accross this artist on youtube. She has a sampler called an Electrix Repeater that helps her layer all her vocals live. I like this tune and it is amazing that she can do this. Enjoy.............

Our Memorial Day weekend trip to Idaho.

We had a great weekend up at Tyras folks. We went up there because the band was playing at a little Saloon called Butch Casidys. The kids fell asleep on the way up, so it was nice and quiet.

When we got there Ty's Dad took us up on the hill above his property and showed us the new automated sprinkling system he had put in. While up there we spotted a bunch of deer, and Tyra said that when she was on a few walks with her Mom they saw a Moose calf.

Butch Casidy's was dead the first night but packed the second. The band had fun on Saturday playing the Montpelier Golf Course, one of the country's top rated courses.

On Saturday, Saige rode the horse most of the day and had fun running around in all the open space at Tyra's folks place. She loves going up there.

On Sunday we had dutch oven and the kids had fun playing. Saige's cousin brought over her new pet Goat. Misha loved it.

It was a fun weekend.

Rogers Creepy Guitar

This is Rogers dead Grandma. He took his pickguard down to a sign shop and had this done.

The Accident

A few months ago, I went up to my friends studio to do some recording. I took Saige with me and she played with his kids while we were in his studio working on some new music. An hour later the door opened and there was Saige with a huge bump on her head. Here is a picture I took after it had been iced for 10 mins. I had never seen a bump as big as the one on her head. Apparently she was running around in the dark and bumped into one of the other kids then smacked her head on the wall. It has taken a few months for it to completely heal.

Martin Sexton

About a week ago I went to a concert with my friend Roger and Brett. It was in Salt Lake at the Depot to see Martin Sexton. The man is amazing. If you don't know who he is, you should go check him out. He has been touring for more than a decade now and is still considered independent. I took these pictures with my cell at the concert. Here is a link to his Myspace, where you can listen to some of his stuff.

My first ride with the OCC guys

Extremely Blessed

I feel extremely blessed lately. I really love where we live. The view from our backyard is great, and I think that I take it for granted at times. This world is a beautiful place, and it is cool to have the mountains so close. We can just head up the canyon and go camping, hiking, biking, fishing etc.

We are getting closer to finishing our yard. Tyra has a garden area, we have a trampoline and sandbox for the kids, and a month ago I got an 8x12 shed put in the back yard. I want to put a little work bench in the shed and some shelves maybe. Part of our fence has been down for the better part of a year waiting for the shed to be put in, but I finally poured the fence posts and got the fence back up the other night.

Family Pics

This was my first attempt at doing my own family pics with the digital. We went up to a beautiful meadow in Mantua and snapped these shots. I used the timer on the camera. I would push the button and hurry and run and get into the picture and wait. CLICK! Hopefully Misha was looking at the camera. These are the few were she was looking at the camera. These are not photoshoped, but still look ok.

Videos and Music

I have posted a bunch of videos on youtube.com. Mostly of music, some with the kids. If you interested go check it out here.

Also, to listen to all things new with my music, you can check out my Myspace here. I try to keep this page updated as much as posible.

Music has been a big part of my life. I never knew when I started playing guitar 20 years ago that it would become a source of income for me. Along with teaching guitar lessons and playing my band, I run a small studio that generates a little income as well. Check it out here.

King Of The Blues

Last month I was in a blues guitar competetion. I was put on by Guitar Center. The winner wins a Ford Mustang a bunch of guitars, 5000 in cash and gets to jam with BB King, John Mayer and Pete Anderson.

I was in the top 6 of the store finals. I was basicly like American Idol, but with Blues Guitar playing. Guitar Center gave each contestant a backing track and you had to play over it infront of three judges. In the end of the store finals, I didn't win, but I had a good time and felt like a played my best. Good luck to the guy who took it.

Here is one of my video blues lessons.

Saige turns five

Siage turned 5 on the 14 of april and had a party and invited about 7 of her closest friends. Tyra planed the whole deal and every thing about the party was realated to kitties. It was a kitty birthday party. All the kids looked for paper mice and there was a fishing pond. The cupcakes were made to look like cat faces. I was a perfect day outside. I stood by and took pictures, and ate cake and candy.

Next year Rock Party! With loud music and leather. Or whatever Saige decides.

My first blog

Saige getting SPF 1000 applied to face.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to put a little site together so that you all can keep up on the happenings of my little family.

We just got back from a event filled trip to Park City where we stayed at Mom and Dads time share. When we showed up to check in, the girl at the front desk said the pool and hot tubs were closed. This bummed out Saige because it is her favorite thing to do at the timeshare. Need not fear though! We were able to go to the other Marriott that night and use the pool at the Marriott on main street.

The pool opened at our hotel the next day, and Saige seemed more interested in collecting bugs near the hot tubs and pool than swimming in them.

Fun was had by all.
