Visiting Hours

Tyra's mom brought the kids up and then her dad came by. Saige is obsessed with baby Greyson and kept kissing him on the head and saying "ooohhhhh he's so cute". Misha just enjoyed some snacks and didn't care one way or the other.

We will be checking out sometime this afternoon back to real life. Hospital has been very good, not one complaint about the Doctors or Nurses, and the food wasn't to bad.

Introducing Greyson Kenneth Bischoff

Born at 12:55 AM on Tuesday the 29th of April. Weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches long. Mom and baby or doing well. Everything went very smoothly. Jade brought the kids up and they loved seeing him.

We are here at the hospital!!

So the hospital asked Trya to call them this morning at 6:00 and when she called they said that they were to busy and to call back in a couple of hours. So she called back at 8ish but they said they were to busy with C-sections and people in real labor and more than likely it would not be until until after noon when they got us in.

So I went out and did some work on the yard, put the fence back up and Tyra went on a walk and went to Wally World with her Mom. So Trya called back twice once at 10:00 and once at 1:00 and they finally said, ok, can you be here by 3? So here we are. We shall keep you posted. Right now the nurse is hooking her up to the drugs. We are excited to be here! Rich

5:25 Pm
The Doc just broke the water and we are at a 2 & 75% effaced, Tyra says the contractions are getting painful. I am rubbing her neck and feeding her ice chips. Rock On! Doctor is shooting for 10 PM to have the baby. Rich

Tyra is at a 3 and 80%, contractions still painful, but no pain meds yet. We are watching Extra and something about Mylee Cyrus. Tyra's mom is at our house watching the kids, She just called and is going to call back in an hour. She is thinking about coming over with the kids.

I ran and got a burger at 7:30. Tyra got the epidural about 25 mins ago. She is now sleeping. We had dancing with the stars on when the anesthesiologist came in and he made fun of the bigger girl. Tyra states that getting the epidural this time was more painful. Than the last two pregnancy's. She is at a 5.

First Haircuts!

Jeremy came over to get his haircut and brought his boys for their very first haircut! This is Dalton before...And after... He has a wild little rooster tail that is so cute and is also how some people tell them apart!
Ashton before... He was a little more wiggely than his bro but they were both SO very good for their first haircuts!

Baby Shower Pics!

The BIG Day!!!

Well, I called the doctor's office on Tuesday afternoon to talk about setting up a day. He was in surgery so they called me back yesterday morning. It looks like MONDAY is going to be the big day! I have to call the hospital at 6:00 a.m. and see what time they want me to go up there. So, if he wants to come on his own then I guess he only has 4 more days to do it...I can't believe I will be holding my little (or big) baby boy in 4 days or less!!!

Also, Thank you to Callee, Jade, and Lindsay for the fun shower they threw for me last night! It was so much fun! After the guests left we stayed up late talking! Rich was wondering why I didn't get home until 2:30 this morning!!! It was so great talking to my sister in laws though! Love you girls! I will post pics later, I left my camera case at Jade's house!

To be induced or not to be?

I went in for my 38 week check up yesterday. Needless to say I was a little frustrated. I am a little more dilated and a little more effaced but not too much has changed from last week. Even though I am having tons of contractions,etc... I am still measuring about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks ahead. So I am measuring about 40 weeks. He said if I want to then I can pick a day next week for him to start me, or if I am ok with staying pregnant I can just wait and see what happens. HHMMM!!! What to do??? Seriously, I know most people are like "Just pick a day!" But for some reason I am struggling with this decision. In some ways I feel like "Get him out of there already" but in some ways I feel like I should just let him come when he wants to! I am sure I am driving my family crazy with my emotional state of mind but seriously, I wish my Dr. would have just told me what to do instead of having me choose because I feel to wishy washy about it all! Anyway. Just thought I would let you know the update and we will let you all know as soon as we (or I) decide what to do... Rich is leaving it up to me, I think he is afraid of what my hormones might do if he TELLS me what to do! Thanks for putting up with me Rich, and Saige, and Misha, and anyone else who has had to listen to me lately!

Happy Birthday Saige!!!!

Saige is six years old today. On Saturday we went to Chuck E. Cheese in Sandy to celebrate and will have cake, ice cream and presents tonight. Saige is a very sweet girl who loves animals, bugs, drawing, music, horses, movies, stories. She is in her last few months of kindergarten. She is very smart, loves to learn and to play and helps out around the house.

Concrete

Tyra's brother let me help him pour some cement at our house. The side of our house has been useless for the longest time. So now we will have a larger patio out back and an RV pad where we can park our boat, rv, snowmobiles, 4wheelers, etc.







Cement truck cracked our sidewalk.
A friend from high school who is in our ward came and disconnected our AC unit so we could pour the cement. We should have it hooked up soon, Tuesday is supposed to be 80 degrees.
