After 6 years of being a mom, I am actually official now because I went and got, as Rich calls it, "MOM HAIR"!!!! I have had long hair my whole life, except for the time I cut it in beauty school, and when I did that, Rich didn't talk to me for 2 days... So, I knew he wouldn't be thrilled but I have just been needing a change lately, and since the extra baby weight pounds unfortunately don't magically disappear overnight, I got brave and decided to chop off my hair..... I am sure many of you will be shocked because I am always so nervous to do anything drastic as far as lenth goes with my hair...Especially my friend Ashley who does my hair, she could not believe I actually did it. As soon as I told her I was going to do it, she hurried and put it in a pony tail and cut it off before I could change my mind! :) Here are some before pics...
And after!!! (We are going to the pool today with Callee and Jade so that is why I am in a swimsuit.)

Well I think it is darling! I love it! It makes you look young and sassy and is far from any mom hair I've seen. Maybe if it was curled and shaped in the shape of a football helmet but it's not. It's way cute! Rich is nuts if he doesn't like your new do. Way to be brave!

Love it, love it, love it! It is so not "mom hair." In fact, I'm laughing my head off because I told Mat the other day that I was desperately needing a haircut and he said I should cut it short and described your haircut to the "T". He loves that shorter in the back and a little longer in the front look right now. I'm sure there's a technical term for that, but I don't know what it is. Anyway, I'm totally loving it. It's fresh and sassy! If I could guarantee it would look that cute if I did it, I'd DO IT!

In fact, I am laughing cuz Rich told me I should just keep it long when I told him I needed something new cuz "Holly and Mia haven't ever cut their hair short and they always look good", so it is funny that you are saying you want a haircut. Heck if Mat is telling you to do it, go for it!!! I have always been so nervous about it cuz Rich only likes it long, but I have decided, Heck, it is just hair and it will grow back if I want it to...Right? And Mia, Rich was surprised that I did it but he didn't give me the silent treatment this time. In fact, today (I cut it yesterday) He actually said that I looked good, at least I think that was what he was trying to say......He said that my hair looked good with my sunglasses on, so I took them off and said and it doesn't look good now? And he said maybe it is cuz I didn't have very much clothing on that it looked good(I was on my way to Callee's parents pool)...???

In my defense and before all you stay at home mom's lynch me. All I ever said to Tyra was, "Tyra, you can cut it how ever you want, but I like it long".
