Pumpkin walk!

Last Saturday we took the kiddos over to the pumpkin walk. It was cold and rainy but it was still fun and the kids really liked it. We haven't gone over to it for a few years so we figured it would be fun to check it out again with the kids this year.

Happy Fall Y'all!!!!

Misha's new smile and Hat day.

After a somewhat traumatizing experience at the "Royal Surgeon"'s office Misha is now braces free and looking good. She didn't want to breathe in the "stinky gas" so they came in quickly with needle in hand and stabbed her in the leg through her pants and everything with the knock you out put you to sleep with your eyes open medicine. I think I was partly traumatized as well. Her mouth is looking so good tho. The one tooth is chipped off shorter than the other and there are a few other little chips off of other ones that are more minor but all in all she looks pretty darn good compared to what it was! Now we just wait and see if they turn dark and stay in!
Last Thursday was Hat day at preschool so she sported this cute little number.

She picked her outfit as well.

We are glad Misha is doing so well and we love her sweet new smile! I am greatful that there are teeth in there at all! Hopefully they will stay white but if not then oh well. At least they are just her baby teeth.

Miley Cyrus Concert with Saige.

We went with our friends Ashley and Taya to Miley Cyrus and it was so FUN! The girls were loving it and so were we! I have never heard so many little girls screaming as loud as that in my life....Taya and Saige. I loved watching Saige's face and her singing along. She was LOVING it!!!
Before the concert we did a little shopping and then ate at Red Robin. The girls got these little dogs that they were loving playing with all night from Target.
Taya, Ashley, Saige and me.
It was the best mother daughter date we have had!
Miley didn't look like she felt very good the first couple songs and she ended up running off during the 3rd song and they said she has a touch of the flu and took a 10 minute break. She came out and did pretty good for the rest of the show for not feeling very well. That has got to be hard to still perform for all these people that paid money to come see you and you are feeling like barfing the whole time.
She got on this motorcycle and it was lifted up and taking her above the crowd. It was pretty cool. Saige was digging it. I said to Ashley, hope she doesn't barf up there cuz it would have gotten all over her fans below. :)

I would definelty do it again! It was a great time! I have been singing the songs in my head all morning! Pop it Lock it Polka Dot it, Country fi then Hip Hop IT!!!!

Misha update.

Misha is doing really well. She is loving all the fun things people have been bringing over so Thank you to everyone! She is getting better everyday! The swelling is continuing to go down each day and she is getting better at eating everday also. She was actually able to chew little pieces of food today with her back teeth. This is from Thursday, the swelling alot better.

And these are from today so much MUCH better with the swelling. Her lips are kind of gross still and very tender. I have been trying to clean them some, as much as she will let me. It is also still hard to understand what she is saying. She kind of sounds like a person who has had a stroke, but I am getting pretty good at understanding her with out asking her to repeat too much. I don't know how long the stitches will stay in. I guess we will find out at our follow up with the oral surgeon on Monday.

Yay for the human body being able to heal itself!

Misha's accident...

So, last night while I was making dinner, Misha and Saige were playing Little Pet Shops at the kitchen counter. Misha got up on her knees on the chair and lost her balance smacking her face into Saige's chair on her way down. Notice the teeth marks in the chair below. I lifter her up and blood was GUSHING out of her mouth. When I looked in to see what happened I saw a train wreck of teeth and blood. We are talking mangled teeth and gobs of blood. I freaked. When it is other people it is not a bother to me but when it is your own child it is SO different. Saige was a good helper grabbing me a towel and the cell phone and running to the neighbors for help as Greyson was fingerpainting in the blood on the floor. My neighbor wasn't home and so I loaded everyone up and headed to the ER hoping Misha wouldn't swallow the teeth that were hanging loose in the front of her mouth. They did a CT of her face and called in an oral surgeon from Logan. They had to put her under conscious sedation and as I held her and cried, they slowly put her mouth back together. She knocked 3 of her front teeth out, fractured her alveolar(the bone in your gums) and had a couple of lacerations they had to sew back together. They put braces on her 4 front teeth to hold them in place and help the bone fracture heal properly. He doesn't know if her teeth will be saved or not so we will wait and see how it all heals.
Right after we got home from the hospital. Rich was so good to help and needed some snuggle time with her.
This morning she is very swollen. I can't get a very good picture of the inside because is hurts her too much. She is on Tylenol with codeine and an antibiotic. We follow up with the oral surgeon on Monday in Logan.

I know it is a good thing they are baby teeth but still this is quite traumatic. I hope it all heals ok and she gets better fast. I am greatful it wasn't worse, but, it was bad enough. She is doing really well, in some pain but handiling it like a little trooper! She is having a hard time swallowing anything because her mouth is so swollen and sore. I am just trying to get some fluid in her and the medicine. Thanks to everyone who helped us and have called with well wishes! We love you!

Fleas.

So the hospital is requiring everyone that works in contact with patients to get flu shots this year or you get to wear a mask your entire shift starting October 1 through March or whenever flu season is over. The regular and H1N1. Anyhoo, I was going to go get mine right at noon when they started but decided to go later. So as we get home from running errands Misha says to me "Mom aren't you going to go get your FLEA shot?" Lol, Lol, Lol! I guess I have fleas...
